BACKGROUND
Mazen EL Kadi is an expert in Quality Assurance, Data Analysis, and Business Development, with a wealth of experience in providing technical support for Digital Transformation, E-Learning and Tech Solutions, Databases, Development and Humanitarian Programs. He specializes in Data Quality Assurance, Database Management, Organizational Digital Transformation, Change Management, and Business Proposals. With over a decade of experience in project management, data analysis, data visualization, and designing and implementing Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) systems and databases, Mazen is also skilled in organizational knowledge management and proposal writing.
Throughout his career, Mazen has worked with various local and international organizations such as World Vision International in Lebanon, Dorcas Aid International, Search for Common Ground, and Caritas Lebanon on national and regional programs. He has successfully secured funds ranging from USD$100,000 to USD$80,000,000 from a variety of donors such as the U.S. MEPI, USAID, Global Affairs Canada, European Union, World Food Program, UNICEF, BPRM, Alfanar Venture Philanthropy, Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair Refugee Education Fund, and Total Energies.
Mazen’s exceptional work in implementing the Global Program Tracking & Data Management Platform for the Digital Opportunity Trust Network in Canada, Africa & the Middle East led to his promotion from a Technical Consultant position to Project Systems Specialist to Business Intelligence & Development Manager where his work focuses on increasing the prospect database and organizational cash flow while strengthening the organizational systems at the HQ and Country levels.
Before joining Digital Opportunity Trust in Canada, Mazen served as the Business Development & Quality Assurance Manager at Digital Opportunity Trust – Lebanon. He played a significant role in program development and quality data management, and through his commitment to this role, he helped Digital Opportunity Trust – Lebanon improve its data systems, resource acquisition capacities, and impact measurement.

He has also worked in a variety of conditions and with many donors, including UNHCR, ECHO, DFID, DFAT, U.S. MEPI, USAID, Global Affairs Canada, European Union, World Food Program, UNICEF, BPRM, Alfanar Venture Philanthropy, Abdul Aziz Al Ghurair Refugee Education Fund, Total Energies, and other private and public donors.
Mazen has held leadership and coordination roles in several organizations since 2010, including Tabitha Relief & Development (Dorcas Aid International), Caritas Lebanon, Search for Common Ground, MEPI – Lebanon Alumni Association, and the Youth Economic Forum. He has also contributed to developing several publications, including “Towards Environmental Advocacy” with MEPI – Lebanon Alumni Association and “The Reformists Platform” with the Youth Economic Forum. With experience working in country programs, regional, and headquarters office contexts, Mazen has developed the necessary tools, technical expertise, management skills, and exposure to handle situations from different perspectives.
CONSULTACY EXPERIENCE
Since January 2013, Mazen has been working as a freelance consultant, offering his expertise in institutional development, such as business planning and policy development, as well as program development, grants acquisition, quality assurance, digital transformation and automation. He has also worked as a programming consultant, focusing on proposal and budget development, with organizations such as Digital Opportunity Trust – Lebanon, MIDAL Association, Michel Daher Foundation, Active Voice, Women in Front, Lebanese Association for Rural Development, and the Lebanese Association for Medical and Development Activities. Additionally, he has served as a project consultant for the May Chidiac Foundation and Media Institute, and as a program evaluator for the Permanent Peace Movement and International Alert.

Mazen holds a Bachelor in International Affairs and Diplomacy from Notre Dame University – Louaize (Accredited by NECHE) and verified International Academic Qualifications by the World Education Services (WES).
Mazen is an experiential learner who has pursued technical training courses with various local and international entities such as World Vision Canada, Cash Learning Partnership, CORDAID, ZOA, and the US State Department. He regularly strengthens his skills and knowledge by taking online courses.
Mazen is a Certified Internal Auditor for Quality Management Systems ISO 19011 and earned the Google Data Analytics Professional Certificate and the Google Project Management Professional Certificate.
